Fantastically bright diving flashlight with magnetic sensor switch and three light levels
This is a seriously bright flashlight designed for diving use, supplied with high power rechargable lithium-ion batteries and a smart charger. Using a Cree LED with a life span of 50,000 hours this light outputs a whopping 600 lumens (manufacturer rated). This diving flashlight is rated to a depth of 100m and can produce three light levels plus a strobe (excellent for attracting attention). It is operated using a magnetic sensor switch ring (below):
The flashlight is made from T6 aircraft grade aluminium alloy and is just about as tough as it's possible to get. The magnetic sensor ring switch is an elegant solution to making this light safe to 100m underwater and easy to operate. Toughened optical glass with an excellent transparency and scratch resistance is used on the front lens cover. High power is incredibly bright, you can switch to a middle or lower power setting where appropriate and to conserve battery life.
Included in the box are two high power lithium-ion cells (18650) and a smart charger which will charge both cells at the same time. The charger is UK spec and conforms to safety standards and is CE rated. The battery compartment is accessible by unscrewing the end cap which features a sophisticated double 'o' ring system, designed to protect the batteries to pressures of 10 atmospheres (a depth of 100m).
